Legion joins the list of apocalyptical films that hit the cinemas recently is Scott Stewart’s Legion. Headed by Paul Bettany, this ensemble film hits cinemas on Jan twenty-two, 2010.

God gives up on humanity. It is only the archangel Michael ( Bettany ) who believes in the destiny of humanity. He stands between the apocalypse and saving humankind. The angels are God’s weapons to do the process of Biblical judgment. The population is near extinction. Desperate, Michael leads a circle of strangers and they reach a tiny eaterie in New Mexico. Their goal is to guard a young pregnant waitress who is scheduled to give birth to Christ for his 2nd coming.

Joining Bettany are model-turned-actor Tyrese Gibson ( Kyle Williams ), Charles S. Dutton ( Percy walker ), Dennis Quaid ( Bob Hanson ), Lucas Black ( Jeep Hanson ), Kate Walsh ( Sandra Anderson ), Adrianne Palicki ( Charlie ),Kevin Durand ( archangel Gabriel ), Willa Holland ( Audrey Anderson ), and Jon Tenney ( Mr. Anderson ).

Stewart wrote and directed Legion. This is his first major release. Bettany is a recognized actor and has appeared in A Knight’s tale, A Beautiful Mind, Dogville, Master and chief : the distant side of the planet, Wimbledon, Firewall, The Da Vinci Code, Inkheart, The Young Victoria, and Creation.

Black will definitely steal the scene as what he’s done in his other pictures – The War, Sling Blade, spooks of Mississippi, The X-Files, mad in Alabama, all of the Pretty Horses, Cold Mountain, Deep Water, Jarhead, Get Low, and Fast and the mad : Tokyo Drift. – Watch Legion Stream Online
